How do I become part of the JA Uganda programme?
Our programmes are open to learners from Primary through to undergraduate level or young people from 7 – 23 years. We are trying as much as possible to cover all schools that appreciate our programs.
How much am I required to pay to be part of the programmes?
There is no fee charged to be part of our programmes. All programme costs are met by our funders.
What skills can I expect to obtain at the end of the programme?
Learners acquire over and above the best knowledge on how to start and run a successful and ethical business, be innovative, gain the necessary confidence and life skills to manage life outside of school.
Does JA Uganda provide funding to start a business?
JA Uganda does not provide funding to start businesses, we offer you the skills and knowledge that will enable you to attain the required funding.
Does JA Uganda offer bursaries?
No, JA Uganda as an institution is not in position to offer bursaries. We are a not for profit NGO funded by grants restricted to offering knowledge and skills that help young people to unleash their potential.
How do I become a volunteer?
We welcome mature and upright in character volunteers to facilitate our programmes. If you have a passion for enterprise education and young people development, please contact our national office.
Is there any remuneration or out of pocket paid to the volunteers?
No remuneration is paid whatsoever.
