JA Company Program Expo 2009

The 2009 JA Uganda Company Program Expo took place on the 25th of November 2009 at the Roof Top of the Garden City Shopping Centre in Kampala. 15 student companies that managed to complete their business ventures in time competed for six JA Uganda Business Awards of the year. Great business skills, enthusiasm and hard work were exhibited by students. Differences in scores between companies were very marginal that proved the impact of the program experience to the students. Such competitions are intended to gauge and award the comprehension of business skills among students after they have completed the JA Company Program; sharing of best practice among young entrepreneurs and exhibit the reality of competition in the real life of business. Students are trained to identify themselves and their products out of the many businesses around them as a way of exposing them to stiff competition.
